It's got a small bar but it's not party spot. (Unless you bring your own part). It's a restaurant.
Nope, reality.
Love this place excellent service and food
Good food, good staff, and Sunday nights Mariachi music
This place has a few great plates, but most tend to miss their mark. I wouldn't go as far as to calling this "authentic" Mexican cuisine, but what they do offer wasn't half bad. I do enjoy their fajita skillets, but their horchata drinks just taste like pure powder - this was the last time I went, I'm sure it's better now. They have a nice little bar area to watch a game or socialize
Good food nice employees just a little pricey
Very good service and food. I had fish tacos, hubby had beef enchiladas. Pleasant meal.
Had a live Mariachi while we enjoyed our delicious dinner! Loved it!
I enjoyed the live music they had today!
We live in Bullhead City, Az. Our kids took us there. It's their favorite. We also liked it very much. Will be back next Time we are here. Food was Great and so was service
Good food & good service.
Lovr this place for taco tuesdays. Good place to entertain house guests..also.
We enjoy it every time we go. Consistently good food, good service and a good value.
Very good service and food. One of the few me can places that serve warn authentic tortilla chips. We love it.
Great food with friendly staff, and the fresh tortillas rock.
I have eaten here many times before. Never had a bad meal and never had bad service. They know how to run a restaurant. Food is delicious and piping hot when brought to the table. Highly recommended :)
Great food, service
Good food, good service.
On my lunch hour waited for a table for 10 minutes then waited for the waitress another 10 minutes she helped everyone else but me lunch hour is over not happy at all poor service
Excellent food and service
This is a nice place to get a quick bite to eat.
Not authentic Mexican food. Salsa taste like made out of canned tomatoes. If you want authentic Mexican food this is not the place.
Very good food and micheladas
I love this place, but had stayed away due to my dental, familial tremors, and broken wrist issues. I ordered my usual 2 Chicken Enchilada Suizas. I had a hard time eating so asked for a large tablespoon. The girl brought a teaspoon. I nearly cried. If I can't scrape my food and keep it on a dinner fork, what in the WORLD good would that help. For the longest time I just sat there in frustration holding it up between us as silent tears rolled. I managed a little, and just boxed the rest not sure she noticed or cared. But I now carry a Tablespoon and napkins everywhere. The food has ALWAYS been excellent here, so was service, so we've started picking it up. Because attentiveness to customer needs, is just not there as much, unless the desire is to serve one drink, your meal, give your ticket, collect, and be done.
Best place in Midtown for food and drinks hands down !! Great service !!
The chicken tacos were incredible! You could taste the grill marks---VERY delicious!! The salsa for the chips is also really good. I would definitely visit again.
Favorite Mexican restaurant in California. My husband and I frequent this place quite a bit and always get the same thing - the triple meat molcajete to share. It's always delicious and comes with the most glorious chicken tortilla soup imaginable. Staff is really friendly and considerate, tortilla lady is a master of her craft and if I haven't convinced you yet - no one can compete with their chips & salsa!
Taco Tuesday. Great enchiladas.Love the people,. nice, welcoming. Big margaritas. Great salsa. Happy place with Mexican decorations. Music on Sundays.
Although I was told this is an authentic Mexican restaurant, I highly doubt it. It just lacks the real flavor I expected. The portions are ridiculously small for what they charge, my plate was supposed to come with a side of salad with ranch dressing, but all I got was some old lettuce and a slice of cucumber that was at it's rotting point and no dressing at all. Another thing that I should bring up is that the bill is given to you as you are half way through your meal!! I mean, if your having a good conversation with a friend or partner doing such is such a turn-off. Some word of advice is, if you are truly craving authentic Mexican food, and you don't mind the travel, go to winter's instead, there is a Mexican restaurant called Chuy's their food is truly delicious and the service is the best. Thanks for reading.
I love this place! Best margaritas!
The place was great! The food is delicious and very authentic (trust me I'm Mexican I would know)
Food is FRESH! refried beans are the best I've tasted. You can't go wrong anything you order is good. Fresh made tortilla and chips. Everyone working here is always so happy. Im a happy customer 10 years now. GREAT SPOT TRY IT! 💃🏻
Food and service was amazing. Wait staff is super friendly. Everyone smiles at you. They make you feel so comfortable. The food is amazing and very large portions. Always satisfied.
Decent portions and friendly staff, but the price didn't match the food quality. Got the wet burrito, which was a burrito consisting of ONLY dry chicken with some mediocre enchilada sauce and cheese. I've been to many other Mexican restaurants that offer better quality food for a lesser cost. The refried beans were pretty good though! Avoid the wet burrito!
Great food and service and a new patio.
Wow food excellent service was fast no issues the tortilla soup was on hit the food no words that's how I feel
Wife and I loved the food. Service was ok. Had to get up and find an employee to get our check.
Oh my gosh.... Came from Utah to Cali first time trying it Thanks to great friends and it was amazing need to try it if Woodland.. Great job guys keep up the great work.
They did a great job with our group of 12 people. Many different meals. Everything arrived in a timely manner. Be aware if you order a margarita the 'large' is actually almost close to a quart.
Great food and service. Hand made tortillas.
Sol is my favorite Mexican place in Woodland. Tons of super Flavorful food for a reasonable price. The sauces taste like they took hours to make. It’s all good.
Extremely friendly staff. The food well above normal Mexican Chains. Good size portions and nicely decorations.
Not anything to extra to write about. I think this places is good if you're looking to sit down and have some TexMex food. It's reasonably priced. Also, it has a bar if you're into that sort of stuff.
I have only been here a couple of times. I have no complaint with the food, but the service has been horrible every time. Tonight we were going to take my Grandpa there for his 92nd birthday. Initially they told us that it would be 15-20 minutes. After waiting at least that long, we asked about the wait and they said it would be another 20 minutes. (We had to ask. Even though we were right by the hostess booth, they never had the courtesy to tell us.) Granted we had a party of 9, but there was a table in the back that would have accomodated us. Instead of seating us there, they sat a party of 5 there that would have fit elsewhere. While we were there, I saw a couple come in with a reservation. Apparently they had made it for 6:30, but it had been written down incorrectly as being a reservation at 6:00.
Awesome food, great prices and Mariachis.
What can I say, don't eat here unless you have the following whole day available to be by the restroom, and in extreme pain. Food was tasty, but full of old meat. Service was mediocre. I'd say hard pass, unless you like to live dangerously. Not recommended, stick with El Patio
Their shrimp burrito and fish taco are very good. The burrito is packed with shrimp, rice , beans and a healthy dose of chipotle sauce for a great taste. I'm definitely coming back! Delish!
Excellent food great service one of my favorite spots for Mexican food
Fast service and excellent food
The first person that greeted us was awful. No talk No nothing. Food over priced, ordered the Tortilla soup, which was only a bowl of seemed liked water down soup with tortilla strips floating with minimal beans and a couple of slices of avocado. Nasty !!!!! Never will i go there again or recommend this place.
Great food!! Always love lunches and dinners there. It is popular so sometimes there is a wait but it is always worth it.
Really tasty good food especially liked the molcajete
